Once you have set up an Auto-Debit, you do have the flexibility to pause or cancel at any time you wish to do so. You can just follow these simple steps:
Website: Top Left Menu > Service Center > Cancel/Pause Mandate.
App: Home page → Menu (bottom right) → Mutual Funds → Service Center → Cancel/Pause Mandate.
Note: If you have not invested in Stocks & ETFs, then you will be on the Mutual Funds page by default.
Important Notes:
1. If an investment is already in progress and the debit request has been sent to your bank, then pausing or canceling the auto-debit will not stop that payment. You should pause/cancel the auto-debit beforehand.
2. If you are only looking to Skip paying for a SIP or to Stop a SIP, we do have an easier way to do that. You can refer to these FAQ for steps:
3. If you choose to Pause your SIP and later you want to resume it again, you can follow these steps:
Website: Top Left Menu > Service Center > Cancel/Resume Mandate.
