As per the new SEBI guidelines, any new folio created on or after 1st October 2022 (tomorrow) requires a verified nomination or opt-out declaration from the investor (you). For online transactions, this verification can be done either by an OTP or eSignature.
To facilitate this, you must declare a nominee while investing in a new folio. As per the SEBI norms, you will have to validate the nominee by OTP (one-time verification) which will be sent to your email and mobile number registered with us.
We are currently working to introduce this; hence, you will not be able to invest in a new folio for some time. We will notify you on your registered email once we add this to the app.
